Anderson God claims you..
Anderson Cole
You were baptized on Sunday October 4, 2015 which just so happens to also be your grandparents' 35th anniversary :)
This is the gown worn first by daddy and all his brothers. Then when we had your brother Cohen, he wore it too! We wanted you to fit into it (because you are growing SO big!) so we bumped up your baptism a bit. Even still the neck was really snug, but cute nonetheless!
I can say without a doubt the best things in life are not things, but instead our family and friends. Mom has now baptized both our boys and I'm so so happy to have that for them. and for us ;-) I got a little choked up watching the whole thing thinking back to our birth and how this may have not happened. Some days are still harder than others when we think back to the 'what ifs' and watching you be sprinkled and blessed was a moment I will not forget. We love you littlest.
Thank you all for celebrating our precious life this day. We had yummy cake and a healthy Zoe's lunch afterwards before all heading home, tired, but happy. A huge thank you to Lou Lindsey for taking these pictures for us so we could be present this day.

Always the nursing champ, you still like your feeds every two hours. So we had a little one on one time before the service started and you were just so happy.
Aunt Laura made your cake, and I hope you can see that it took her ages and LOTS of love. Its funny, I didn't even specify colors and yet she matched the paper goods I had chosen that week without even telling her. I guess sisters are smart and think alike on the same wavelength. It was gluten free almond on the top layer and a peanut butter brownie as the main cake. Good thing we weren't counting calories that morning, because the cake was a big hit!

Sleeping with a halo
So I just wanted to say Anderson is sleeping like an angel. And I now know where Halo got its name from haha!
Sleeping secret? Because Cohen slept with us for nearly a year, I decided this time around we'd use a bassinet. I chose the halo one because it swivels, lowers on one side, and was a just in case (because it's recommended for c section moms!). It's rather big but because we have wood floors, it slides when I want to move the entire thing. Anderson has some reflux so we prop one side up with a small quilt, a normal crib wedge won't fit due to the unique shape.
We got the more expensive model. It has lights and vibration functions but honestly we don't use them. Ever. Haha. Anderson likes his space to be quiet and still.
Swaddle...so this is new for us because Cohen hated the thing. A dear friend of mine sent me the new halo sleeper and it is our favorite. (And we have a LOT of different swaddles!) it's called the swaddle sure.
The best thing is the 'velcro' part. It is this new stuff that doesn't stick to ANYTHING other than the fabric it's supposed to. So no more Velcro from our target swaddles getting hung up in the laundry. Plus, it keeps him more snug and thus Houdini arms can't escape. We brought both these swaddles on our trip because they seriously put him right asleep.
This is the newbie size that obviously our huge kid grew out of quickly...so here's the size small...
Anyway, both winners in my book. Amazon and buyBuyBaby are our stores of choice.
