Cohen,
Today you are 10 months old. You have officially been outside my body as long as you were in it. And funny enough, Mommy reached her pre-Cohen weight this month as well. :-)
Things you've been up to:
We celebrated your first Fourth of July with friends here in Allen.
You are sooooo attached to momma this month. We think its a touch of separation anxiety that's normal around this time for babies, and also partly caused by the mayhem of our move right now.
One of my favorite 'selfies' |
You love to walk with the train and the other walker. You get so excited that you can do this on your own; when you move you sniff air really fast through your cute wrinkled nose.
Every day is an adventure. You have not gotten tired of exploring our house yet. I can't turn my back or you find the dog food, the toilet water, the dead bug in the corner of the room....
You like to take things out of their containers. The laundry and the lower shelves on our bookcases are your two favorite places to 'unload.' I put you in the basket to help fold this day!
You love your daddy and miss him when he is in Tulsa during the week.
You still come to Sunday School class with us. You aren't great in the church nursery, yet. Again, I think its the separation anxiety.
You got your first ear infection :-( This makes you a bit more clingy, but I take advantage of it while I can. I love your little chunky-ness!
You have started to throw little tantrums when you don't get your way....head back, full lung cries.
You are babbling more with more syllables. We've heard dada, mama, some baba, ah-ah, lala and blowing b-bubbles.
Some favorite toys are your music table, your 'walkers', little balls, the rubber keys, and the letter blocks from your toy train.
You still don't have any teeth. I think you've been teething for most of this month, however, we have no pearly whites to prove for all the fussiness.
You wear 9-month clothes and are fitting into a couple of 12 month items. But since you are 50% in height and weight, I'm hoping I can estimate that you will be in 'average' baby clothes for a while (helps me buy things on sale!)
You get so excited when you are in the bathroom because you notice the tub. And that means bath time. And apparently you enjoy it ;-) Everytime you find yourself near that tub, you call and raise your volume until I tell you bath time is later. So cute, kid, so cute.
We love you booger butt.
:-)
