You are 8 months old this month!
We know you are about 20 pounds and still growing. You fit into your 9 month clothes (some 6 month) and we went on a shopping spree with Cici to get you some summer clothes last week. We bought your first swimsuit in preparation for Florida this summer!
You are fitting really well in your cloth diapers, although figuring out the poop thing hasn't been fun. Our favorites this month are still the bumgenius and tailfeathers diapers, but we still have the occasional leak (hello, frustrating).

Cohen you are:
- So very happy. You wake up smiling in the morning and giggling on your own without tickles now. You love to flirt with people who glance your way, but you are pulling in close to those you love (starting the stranger awareness early, I guess)

- You are so close to crawling. This past week or so you get up on all fours and rock back and forth until you get frustrated and cry. You can 'hop' forward and really reach to get your favorite toys.
- You can't pull up on your own just yet, but its coming. Your favorite toy at home is the little busy table. (actually, you've now pulled up three times this week on this exact table. Oui)
- You eat one jar of baby food with Ms. Susan and you eat 'dinner' with us. Its amazing how much better your hand/eye coordination is this month. We still give you a bath nearly every time you eat, but more food is in your mouth now. You like 'drinking' water from a normal cup, so we might just skip the whole sippy cup phase.
- You love your puppies. They are the best kind of entertainment!
- I saw this on a friend's facebook post and thought I would take some close ups of your face. I just stare at you most of the time you sleep. Love it and your cute features. You haven't been sleeping through the night at all this month. We've been lazy about letting you cry so you've basically set your own personal feeding...all...night....long. Typically you go to bed around 8.... then nurse at 11, 2 and 5. This mamma has got to get a backbone or you are going to have issues ever sleeping through the night. Maybe this summer?
-We took a trip this month with friends to a city near Austin. You were adorable (as always) in the bluebonnets.
