This should have posted last week, but we've been busy bonding ;-) Better late than never, right? You are seven weeks old! This week has been pretty transitional...lots of learning about you taking place!
Your Cici came down to visit us (well, really just you!) this week. We had so much fun at the arboretum and hanging out. Mom and Dad were really looking forward to Cici doing the 3 am feedings while she was here so we could get some sleep...you, however, had different plans. For the first time in your short life you slept 6 hours STRAIGHT for BOTH nights. And then, as luck would have it, the next three days you were up every 1.5 to 2 hours. We told Cici she had to come live with us because you slept so well when she was here ;-)
This week I have kept pumping at the midnight feeding time to get some milk in reserve. Some nights I get triple what you are eating. This week you are eating about 3 oz when daddy gives you your one bottle a day.
We suspect this week was your '6-week' growth spurt. You spend a lot of time on the boob and not sleeping for about 3 days. I weighed you on our scale and I'm almost certain you are at the 12 pound mark! Holy Cow! You've also grown out of your newborn clothes, especially length-wise. I can still get you in the NB onesies but not the outfits with feet/pants. They are way too short!
Sleeping...Le sigh This part of the week has NOT been great. But you look so cute, almost like you're praying!
