Anatomy Scan (20 weeks)

Anatomy Scan Appointment:
Update from our doctors' office today ;-)  And a true MOM moment for me!
Lil Cohen is measuring a few days ahead, but the doctor isn't going to change the due date just yet.  We will just keep our fingers crossed that he is strong and healthy a few weeks earlier!

Measuring 13 ounces!
Head is normal size and looked like a football to us.  Lets hope the head is on the small side for an easier labor and delivery!
We got to see his full bladder, all 4 chambers of his heart, his cerebellum and she measured his Nuchal Fold, which came back normal as well!
She turned on the color monitor to watch the blood flow in his umbilical cord.  It was really neat to see the new red blood and the old blue blood pumping!
His heart rate is still the same - 154.  Patrick recorded it on his cell phone.  Cohen was wiggling a bunch by this point so the stenographer had a hard time finding and staying with the pulse. Ha!  Looks like we have an attention span issue like me in the family ;-)
She took a picture of his profile and says he looks like me.  Don't know if that is the case, but I smiled anyway.  I think I'd rather have him look like hubbie!
And, I don't know if you can read the upper right hand on the photo, but she agrees that Cohen is definitely still a BOY.  Time to pick out paint colors - (Thats a whole other post in itself).

Blessings!
